What a Used Car Needs Before It Goes on the Lot
We stock Buyers Guides in 1-part and 2-part versions. They come in pressure-sensitive, adhesive, and mirror-hang styles, and some come in Spanish. Most dealers then add a stock sticker or key tag to track the car, window stickers or addendum stickers for options and add-ons, and a price on the windshield.
Why Shoppers Notice the Lot
The 2025 Cox Automotive Car Buyer Journey Study found that buyers spent about 2 hours 55 minutes at the dealer where they bought. They spent about the same time again at other dealers and sellers.
During those visits, the price and the selling points have to be readable from the aisle. Windshield numbers and windshield slogans show them from a distance. Mirror tags mark SOLD, HOLD, or a sale price. Swooper flags, pennant strings, and balloons help drivers on the road find the lot. When the Car Sells
Each deal needs a folder and its paperwork. Our deal jackets come plain in 10 colors or printed with your dealership name, and the car sales forms go inside. On delivery, your name goes out on the car. Use custom dealer plates in one color or full color, license plate frames with raised lettering, and dealer decals.
In the Service Drive
The service drive uses repair orders and service forms, numbered hang tags, and service reminder stickers for the next visit. Paper floor mats and seat covers, wheel covers, and parts bags keep the customer’s car clean. For after-hours drop-offs, add a night drop box and envelopes.
Keys, Rentals, and the Office
Key boards and key cabinets hold from 30 to 105 keys, and the cabinets lock. The rental counter has its own rental agreements and supplies. The office department has accounting forms, employment forms, and used car record books. So the lot, the shop, and the office can order on one purchase order.
